Over $633,159 was allocated to more than 2,279 children across the province.

The first annual Ceilidh and Casino event was launched at Casino Nova Scotia, raising $7,500.

Within the Sport Nova Scotia family, members also made significant donations to KidSport: $19,212 from Hockey Nova Scotia; $12,750 from Soccer Nova Scotia; and $3,000 from Gymnastics Nova Scotia.

In total, more than $200,000 was raised for KidSport through donations, sponsorships and charity of choice partnerships. The province of Nova Scotia continues to be the biggest supporter of KidSport.
