The Milk Sport Fair at Acadia University in Wolfville and Soccer Nova Scotia’s BMO Centre in Halifax helped more than 3,600 students from 38 schools and taught them about different sport opportunities.

More than 180 awards were presented to recognize the accomplishments of the Nova Scotia’s best athletes, coaches, teams, officials, volunteers, sponsors and organizations at the annual Support4Sport Awards

Over $50,000 was raised for the Nova Scotia Amateur Sport Fund at the 21^st annual Manulife Dragon Boat Festival.

$25,000 was raised for amateur sport at the 6^th annual Subway Corporate Games.

Our SportSweep program raised over $135,000 for 77 groups.

$480,000 supported 55 provincial sport organizations in the area of participation development.

$317, 625 supported 187 athletes through the Athlete Assistance program

Sport Fund allocated $376,934 to 138 CSO’s to support community sport programming and initiatives.

$152,122 supported 41 provincial sport organization projects.

18 coaches and technical directors were employed through the Support4Sport Coach Employment Program.

68 coaches and officials received funding to support their development through the Individual Coach Initiative, Support4Sport Coach Professional Development and HP Coach programs.

34 provincial sport organizations received a total of $550,000 to support their Nova Scotia Performance Pathway Initiatives (NSPPI)

6 provincial sport organizations received a total of $13,912 in Canada Games legacy Access Funding to offset facility rental costs for their provincial teams.
