Over 248 consultations to community sport groups were conducted and 42 presentations and/or workshops on the principles of long-term athlete development were offered across the province.

We supported 13 PSOs, 112 sport initiatives and over 4,024 members through the Administrative Coordinator program.

KidSport

$620,578 was allocated to more than 2,200 children across the province.

KidSport received a $50,000 contribution from the Sidney Crosby Foundation and a new partnership with SEDMA led to KidSport becoming the charity partner for all three SEDMA tournaments. In total, more than $200,000 was raised through donations and charity of choice partnerships.

Within the Sport Nova Scotia family, members also made significant donations to KidSport: $19,212 from Hockey Nova Scotia; $12,750 from Soccer Nova Scotia; and $3,000 from Gymnastics Nova Scotia.
